Information about submitting a service form
Hotbath has developed a digital service form to ensure that any complaint can be processed efficiently and satisfactorily within the framework of our warranty conditions. Both the end user and the Hotbath dealer can use this form to submit a service request directly. Once submitted, an automatic confirmation email will be sent, including a clear overview of examples not covered by the warranty. The person submitting the service form is formally regarded by Hotbath as the applicant for the service request. The applicant will, if applicable, receive an invoice for any costs to be paid on site via card transaction.
Complaints are handled by means of telephone advice, sending replacement parts, or — if necessary — by deploying a service technician within the Netherlands. Our service provision follows the rules laid out in our warranty conditions. This means that if a product fault is confirmed and a technician is required, no costs will be charged within the first year after purchase. From the second to the fifth year, only travel expenses will be billed.
If the issue is not a product defect but the result of installation errors, limescale build-up, clogged filters or tap components, and/or thermostat adjustments, the costs of travel, labour and materials will be charged to the applicant.
Proper installation required
If our technician determines on site that the Hotbath product has not been installed according to the installation instructions (included with every product), we cannot provide service.
For example, escutcheons should not be sealed with silicone. If this is the case, you must cut them free yourself, or the service technician may do so at your responsibility after assessment. Built-in components must always be accessible. Under no circumstances will our technician carry out drilling or demolition work.
Hotbath cannot be held liable for any damage arising from a service visit.
Rates:
Travel: €85.00 (incl. VAT) – Labour: €25.00 (incl. VAT) per 15 minutes.
A service visit by a technician is only available within the Netherlands, excluding the Wadden Islands.
