Bathroom trends 2025: luxury, sustainability and wellness

At Hotbath, we understand that the bathroom is a place where style and functionality come together. The bathroom trends for 2025 emphasise calm environments with a hint of luxury and personality. Read on and find out how your bathroom can reflect the key trends of 2025.

1. Wellness at home

With the growing need for relaxation, the bathroom is increasingly becoming a personal wellness space. Overhead showers with multiple functions are key to a luxurious home spa and provide a tailor made sense of wellness. This ranges from the minimalist Beam head shower, as seen in Peggy’s bathroom, with three different functions, to the head showers from the Mate series where the possibilities are endless. Think of one or more cascades, massaging body jets or gentle mist functions.

2. Earth tones and organic shapes

Nature remains a key source of inspiration for bathroom design. Think of earthy colours such as beige, sand tones, terracotta and green, combined with natural materials like wood, bamboo and stone. In 2025 these earthy colours remain popular and we see more and more organic shapes appearing in the bathroom. For example, choose a bath, possibly freestanding, with a stone look to create a spa like atmosphere, as seen in Floor Maria’s bathroom.

3. Sustainability

Sustainability continues to be a priority. Water saving technologies and energy efficient systems are becoming increasingly popular. There is also a growing preference for recycled and renewable materials in bathroom furniture and accessories. A beautiful example can be seen in the Casa de Heer bathroom, where a vintage cabinet has been repurposed as a vanity unit with a striking basin on top. This creates a stunning focal point in combination with washbasin taps in Brushed Copper PVD. Our water saving taps combine luxury and sustainability in the best possible way, allowing you to enjoy comfort while also contributing to a greener future.

4. Minimalism

Minimalist design remains a favourite. A minimalist bathroom is defined by the use of neutral colours, natural materials and a strong focus on openness and order. The result is a bathroom that radiates luxury and simplicity, as in Kim’s bathroom. The taps in an aged brass finish fit perfectly with the look and character of a minimalist bathroom.

5. Unity and relaxation

In the bathroom of 2025, harmony and a personal touch are key. Think of towel rails, soap dispensers, hooks and materials and styles that match seamlessly with the bathroom taps. Stylish lighting or a small stool can also add a personal accent to the space. In this way you create a spa like feeling and turn the bathroom into a place where you can truly unwind.
